How it started

We have been dancing and teaching together for years.

Dance is how we met. It later became our work: we competed professionally in American Smooth, opened our own studio, and taught ballroom, social dance, line dance, group classes, and workshops.

Most of our students are not trying to compete. They want to stop feeling awkward at a wedding, dance with their spouse, or learn something fun. Those are the lessons we enjoy most.

Who you will work with

Eric and Bria both teach private lessons.

Eric teaches throughout the week. Bria begins accepting private-lesson requests for dates on or after August 31, 2026. A standard private lesson includes one instructor; groups and workshops are planned separately.

Eric Bird

Private lessons throughout the week

Eric likes to make dancing make sense. He will show you what to do, explain what your partner needs to feel, and give you a small number of things you can actually remember after the lesson.

Bria Bird

Accepting lesson dates beginning August 31, 2026

Bria teaches independently and notices details that can be hard to feel from the leading side. She helps both partners understand what makes a movement feel comfortable and connected.

One or two instructors: Private lessons include one instructor. If you want both of us in the room, the price reflects both instructors’ time. Group classes and workshops are quoted separately.

What matters to us

You leave feeling confident.

We do not need to cover everything in one lesson. We focus on a few things you can use right away, so you know what to do and what to practice next.

  • Use it soonWe plan around the wedding, party, date night, or event you actually have coming up.
  • Remember it laterA short list of reliable moves beats a routine you forget in the parking lot.
  • Ask anythingYou will not be rushed or made to feel behind. Most people start with no dance experience.

Scheduling

Send a request and we will match the right next step.

Because lesson times depend on instructor availability, room timing, and what you are preparing for, requests work better than instant self-booking right now.

  2. 2

    Share time windows

Two or three options help match your request with current Fort Worth-area availability.

  3. 3

    Confirm the fit

Eric follows up with the best instructor fit, timing, location details, and next step.

Quick answers

Common first-lesson questions.

Do I need a partner?

No. Couples, singles, and wedding parties can all request lessons.

Where are lessons held?

Private lessons are taught in the Fort Worth / South Fort Worth area. Eric will confirm exact lesson details after checking availability.

Will both of you teach my lesson?

Private lessons include one instructor, Eric or Bria. Bria accepts lesson requests for dates beginning August 31, 2026. Groups and any two-instructor requests are planned and quoted separately.

How does private-lesson pricing work?

The New Student Starter includes two prepaid 45-minute private lessons for $75 total. It is available once per new independent student or dancing pair. Continuing lessons are $100 for one or $340 for four prepaid lessons. Each lesson includes one instructor and ordinary studio floor use. A private payment link is sent only with an exact offered slot. After payment, Eric rechecks the live studio calendar and sends written final confirmation.

What is the cancellation policy?

Please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Missed lessons or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be charged as a lesson; true emergencies are handled case by case.

Can I book instantly online?

Not right now. Lesson times are confirmed personally so the schedule stays accurate.

What if I am a complete beginner?

That is completely fine. Lessons start with the simplest useful steps and build from there.
